PDA Software instructions

My PDA shows 127.8° as bearing whatever I do, it is not recording any movement.
Your are probably running in Simulation mode of our SPAA05 PDA Program. Go to Info -> Options and change the comport away from 0. There is a detect comport button. This should solve your problem.
Help, I have made measurements in TXT mode, but my customer requires the encrypted files, how can I change this?
Sorry to tell you but the SPAA05-PDA software can only produce encrypted files while measuring on site. You will have to go back to the site.
I have a brand new SPAA05-NEX. Worked for 1 sector, then the Bluetooth lost connection. It is asking for a pin code.
It seems that you lost the Bluetooth connection while out of range. Solution is to reset the PDA and then check if the Bluetooth is switched on. Switch on the SPAA05-NEX outdoor then start the SPAA05-NEX software again. No Bluetooth setup is required and the SPAA05 Program should open with the Bluetooth browser where you should find your SPAA05 tool listed. If not, exit the program and go to Start -> Settings -> Connections -> Bluetooth -> Services -> Serial port -> Advanced and there you have to tick the box for 'Default device for outgoing...' and then restart the SPAA05 program.
When I try to link the PDA to the unit it asks for a passcode. What would that pass code be?
When connecting the PDA to the SPAA05 tool you should not worry about pairing and secured connections and pin codes. Just switch on the SPAA05 tool and lauch the SPAA05 software from start. The program automatically opens the Bluetooth browser where you can find the SPAA05 tool and should be able to connect.
The PDA software for the SPAA05 was installed incorrectly into the PDA, and I am having truble reinstalling the SPAA05 software into the PDA.
Please contact your nearest distributor who will help you with the installation process of the software. Most of the time you will only have to execute the 6 available .CAB files one by one and copy the two GPStools DLL files into the My Device/Program Files/UMTS/SPAA05 PDA folder.
We have sent our unit back for repair. The problem being that I require a report off the PDA. I do have the encrypted files. Is there any way I can reproduce the Word Doc from this?
You should be able to use the Universal Data-translator for this. Please look in the UDT downloads section where a free version is available.
